ONLINE EDUCATION PREPARATION
The most difficult part of the job in preparing online training is not having people in front of you and having to lecture to a camera: This was the most difficult subject for me, talking to a machine was more difficult than I expected. That’s why I suggest you take a few test shots before the actual shoot.
So, how will you teach the lesson? Lecture options can be basically discussed under 4 headings.
1- To teach standing in front of the whiteboard,
2- To give lectures sitting down, using screen writings or presentation pages,
3- Giving lectures using only the presentation screen,
4- To teach by using the screen you record as a whiteboard.
Now let’s examine these items in order;
1- To teach standing in front of the board:
I think this is a pretty easy method.
For this, you will need a camera that can record (a mobile phone will also work). Before you start shooting, you first write the subject you are going to tell on the board. Then you press the record button and start the lecture. It’s that easy.
2- Lecturing sitting down, using screen captions or presentation pages:
For this, it is useful to write the subject you are going to tell as a text before you start shooting. If it is a subject you know very well and you can tell without getting stuck, then you may not need to write it beforehand.
If you are going to proceed by reading the text, then you have to slide the text with a teleprompter and you have to shoot the video by reading that text.

For starters, I recommend the Parrot Teleprompter app.
You put the texts you need to read into this application, and then you stand in front of the phone and read the scrolling texts.
For example, I can recommend the YouTube channel “German with Jenny.”
3- Giving lectures using only the presentation screen:
This method is the easiest of all methods.

It records your voice on each presentation page with applications like Keynote or Powerpoint and allows you to upload it to sites like Udemy in a video file format.
I personally think it’s a cold method. I believe that when I show myself, I establish a warmer bond with those who listen to me.

4- Teaching by using the screen on which you are recording as a white board:
If you are going to tell something technical, I think the most effective method is to explain it by writing.
The most important tool for this is the iPad and the application below.
